BurtmanIndustries Xetronic HID Conversion Kit Install (PICS)

I posted this on CLUBTITAN.ORG and thought I would share it with you guys.

First off I want to say this Xetronic HID kit from www.burtmanindustries.com is top quality. These things look great at night and give a lot of light. It is my first set of HID's and I can tell you I will never own another vehicle without them. The difference between these lights and stock halogen lights is night and day. As always BurtmanIndustries.com has selected a top notch product to sell. They may not be the cheapest but you know the saying "You get what you pay for". I will try and add to this but I wanted to get the pictures up for now.LINK TO KIT ON BURTMANS SITE
ENJOY!

Awesome

Congrats, AWESOME JOB, i went for the silverstar, maybe some day i will go for the real deal :D

THANKS for the detailed instructions, lets keep this forum alive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you didn't take all that apart to add the HIDs. You can just remove one screw in the tirewell, flex the well liner back, and have full access. Takes 5 minutes a side start to finish. ;)
Nice illustration!

Are you going to get fog lights down the road? And, how much wider is the light pattern compared to OEM lights?
"Only cars that come with "factory installed" HID's are legal."

How true is this? Especially in CA.

Yes. This is a blanket rule because most cars don't have diffusers and the HIDs blind. The Armada has diffusers on the low beams, but its still illegal. I wouldn't worry too much. I don't get flashed by people complaining that think I have my high beams on. And for inspections, like I posted, you can swap back in about 10 minutes. ;)
I dont get flashed.
The trick is to aim the lights right so they dont hit people in the eyes.

Yes the first time I put the kit in I just went in through the wheel well but I am a very large fella and have big hands and arms. I was unable to get a good location to mount the ballasts and ignitors. So I dedided to pull the grill and lights and it wasnt really that much more difficult. Took about an hour and that was taking pictures along the way. This gave me great locations to mount everything. Plus I could take all these fun pictures. Hehe

I was always told I had bear paws. LOL
Gotta remember I'm a big O southern cornfed boy. I tip the
scale around 340 lbs. I am tall though so that helps.

I am planning to do the fog lights also. I think I have seen some PIAA fogs I want to use.

I used the silverstars in the fogs. Color doesn't match, but it matches better than stock and they are much brighter. ;)
where did you get you kit from and if you dont mind, what was the cost.

Thanks
The kit is from our sponsor www.burtmanindustries.com
it is $399.00 and comes with the connections to hook to the stock wiring. It is a great kit. You will be very impressed with this kit.
There are cheaper kits out there but if you want a high quality kit then this is a great one.
