I want to add LED lights to the door handles. Any ideas fellas. My dads new BMW has them and they look cool. Check out my post at CT and see what I am talking about. Hopefully someone out there has some ideas.

The hard part would be adding the LEDs to the handles. Wiring shouldn't be difficult. You could wire them to the parking lights or better still interior lights and parking lights. This way, they would light up when you unlock the door by remote. I would hook mine up to the courtesy lights on the mirrors of the LE. This would only work for the front doors. Bottomline, if you want the full job, you should run wires to each door through the stock grommets, then to a relay that lights them all. Put the relay in the dash, and then run the triggers from the sources you want. Pretty simple to wire, pretty time comsuming to do.

Even though you don't have the puddle lights on the mirrors, you probably have the wiring there for them. You would just need to tap into the right wire in the harness for the mirror, then the LEDs would fade out when they shut off like your interior lights do. By the way, lights in the handle are a cool idea.
