Hello everyone.

I know this is a silly question, but is there suppose to be some sort of coin tray within the center console on the Armada? If it is standard, what are some avenues to go in order to get one (I have ask the salesman and he seems pretty clueless)?

I just purchased a 2004 Deep Water Blue 4x2 LE with tech pkg & dvd pkg---I have to say, I LOVE this vehicle.

I believe that is an option...try the parts department. As I recall, it is more costly than I liked, but after having the car for a week, I know I need something.

I would say, use the ash tray, but I just realized that I don't believe it has an ash tray, does it?

There is another post on here somewhere about finding the coin tray. I have one and it is not very useful. It sits across the top of the compartment in the center console. It is easy to dislodge - so all your coins fall into the compartment and it obstructs access to the larger items you can keep in the compartment (mag lite, CD case, etc).

Besides, any coin in the car is an invitation for my three year old to feed it to the CD player or into an a/c vent.

If you got a 2004 it's standard. Not on 2005 though.
Although I agree it's not the best coin tray, I am glad I got mine though. It's a big coin tray that holds my remotes, spare money, extra keys, knife, etc.
There's no ash tray so where else do you put change? Cup holders??
Anyway, it took me about 3 weeks to get it.
If you need help to prove to your dealer that it should hae come with your 2004 Armada, let me know. I still have all my info.

The info would be great to have. Would it be something that I might have, like the sticker or the in the manual? Thanks for your help.

Search for "coin tray" then look at last post under
"infamous "Coin Tray" ??????????? (Brass Pass"

I posted a picture of where the coin tray shows up on the parts list for the 2004 Armada. Key word here is parts list. There is a totally seperate listing for accessories. If the coin tray shows up on the parts list, its a standard item.. If it shows up on the accessories list, then it's extra.

The dealership I went to had to order one from Nissan and took like 10 days to come in. I've heard some dealers pulled them out and have a secret stash of them somewhere. At $85 each, who can blame them.

Good luck.
