Anyone know the details of the 'certified' pre-owned warranty? I've read online that it's 36 months or 100, 000 miles, whichever comes first 'limited' warranty. No idea on the details. What does it cover?

I finally bought a Silver '04 LE - it's a certified pre-owned. Just trying to find out what it means before I get there to pick it up tomorrow. Mostly trying to decide whether I want to buy the extended warranty now, or do it later. I know it's cheaper now....but with my husband's Grand Am, it wasn't much more expensive when we bought it at 36000 miles (when the factory ran out).

TIA, make sure to shop arround for the warranty, I paid $2500.00 for a 7years or 100,000 miles with zero deductibles, but many guys had found it cheaper bu shopping around do your home work, and check out the threads about the warranty. Since you are buying an 04 make sure they had the permenant brake fix on it. check this thread for the warranties

I just bought a NEW leftover 04le, and bought a 6 year 100mi warrenty, that extends basic coverage, no deduct, incl 4 extra free oil changes for 3K canadian, and the dealer does have a few hundred to neg on xtended warrenties...good luck, drive fasssst!
