Purchased 2004 Armada in December 2004. I had just under 4,000 miles and I nearly crashed into the rear of a car at the end of I-95 exit ramp. Shaking and problems steering. The dealing told me straight that they CANNOT fix my vehicle until I bring it in the third time. Presumably because of Lemon Law. I have filed complaints so far with NHSTA, NJ Attorney General's Office, NY Attorney General's Office, NISSAN NORTH AMERICA to name a few. I encourage everyone else having problems to do the same. Next I am contacting my local News Investigator show and see if they want to do a segment on this issue. It is unsafe and I refuse to place my family and friends in this vehicle.

How fast were you going? Even when mine was juttering, I was still able to stop with no problems. Did the guy in front just slam on their brakes all of a sudden?

I too have had problems with the brakes on my '04 Armada. The car had the brake pads replaced four times and the rotors 2-3 times. I contacted an attorney and filed suit against Nissan right before the one year mark. The mechanic at Nissan told me last fall that they do not have a "fix" for the brakes.

This is unacceptable and a definite safey hazard! I urge all Armada owners with this problem to seek legal advice immediately. I know legal advice is expensive, but so is this SUV!!

I had the fix done 3 times already and I think the jutter is coming back. However, it doesn't affect the stopping distance. It just shakes a little.
I am also frustrated that Nissan has implemented a half a$$ replacement policy, but at least Nissan has admitted a problem and has a fix out now for it. It may take a few more months to get the parts out there though.
I don't know enough about Nissan supply chain, but it seems like it's taking way to long.
