Resistors dont work because if you are tricking the vehicle into thinking the air is colder, it will add more fuel. If the actual ambient temp is 90 out, then you will run WAY rich...

Horse powers cost money, and for $9 I don't believed you will even get a pony.
I'll install it for $5, but if your truck don't work then don't worry I think I probably voided your warrenty! :D

the resistor tricks the MAF into thinking the incoming air is actually colder than it really is....this causes the ECU to dump more fuel into the engine for the denser air that it thinks its getting.....all this will do in the long run is make your vehicle run rich, screw up the O2 sensors and possible the catalytic converter

And lower your gas mileage. You get what you pay for.

Exactly how much faster do you guys want to go.
About double that would be fine thank you. My Mada is my slowest vehicle. If you gave me the option, I'd like to have a 0-60 of about 5 seconds, quarter in the high 12s. I want to scare people, like 350zs and Mustangs. Then I would be happy, but faster wound't hurt. ;)

Guess you better drop the cash on that supercharger then Triple! Might as well upgrade the brakes too- getting 5400 lbs. going 0-60 in 5 seconds would be pretty crazy.
