Nice setup also saw your ride in the members gallery. Where exactly is the factory space for the sub? I am planning to upgrade and putting the sub there would save me some trouble.

10.2" (16:9) All-in-One Overhead with Removable DVD System

The factory location is under the driver seat. I looked for days before I found it, the mtx 4500 8" fit right in with some minor cutting!

She says she dont crank it but she also wants more BASS!!!!!!!!!

The last picturre you posted. What size is that and is that rear qurater inside panel?
that is the top of the rear third row quarter panel just behind the rear seat belt harness, the spearker size is 5 1/4. You have to amp the speakers, due to the messed up bose power scheme. If you need specifics on ho to do this just let me know. I tried placing them on the side of the panel down closer to the seat, but there was not enough clearance behind the panel. The sound good in this location but I'm going to cover the grille with matching cloth.

Those drop down monitors look great...How does that sub sound in the stock location? How is it powered?
believe it or not it sounds very good for a 8", bue to the "Bose" wave technology in the factory ported box, i plays nice and low with very little distortion at high levels. I have my powered by one channel from on of the V12's pictured. The Alpine amps have a good crossover in it which is a must, I had to cross over the sus at 60 hz, anything higher sounded like crap. The bass is both low and accurate. It won't win any SPL contests, but it will take your breath away!:D

You could add a JL Sub box. Plenty of bass there and they blend right in. I can't get one because they either replace the 2nd row center console (I have bench) or go in the cargo area on the left side (I have an LE, so it conflicts with the power tailgate). If you don't have both of these, you can get one or either of the boxes. Clean, hidden, and strong.

that what I'm trying to do now, I have a 06 LE and the power lift gate is in the way. Jose from JL is trying to figure out how to work around it.

Nice work on the system. I especially like the sub replacement on the stock location. It saves lots of space. How much modification did you do to the stock sub box? How did you secure the amp at the back of the cargo space?
I am really interested in getting the sub configuration.

amps are just screwed down with mollies.

not a whole lot, removed the original sub and cut out the new sub opening directly over the original. it is to the far left of the box, the original silver 3"x3" amp did not have to be rmoved to cut out the new opening, if you find the amp is in the way you are not cutting out the opening close enough to the far edge.
