Had my Armada for six months, and it has been to the dealer a handfull of times. The problem I have is there is an anoying rattle coming from the Drivers side door. The dealer tries to fix it but always comes back after a few hundred miles. Does anyone knows or heard of this.

Is it your keys in the ignition? I heard a rattle and could not find it until I saw my keys banging against the ingition area.
front door rattles

Andy: Any luck on fixing the rattle? I am having the same problem and now the passenger door is rattling as well.....its driving me crazy!
I got rid of my door rattles by putting felt tape around the door panel edges. You have to pull the panels off, not all the way, just take out the screws and pop the snaps out, a door panel tool is useful. It's just a flat piece of metal with a slot in it that you put around the snap rivet. I used 1/8th inch tape around the sides and bottom. I just asked the dealer for the tape so I could do it myself and he gave me their rattle kit and said take what you want....He knows how much of a headache I've had and that they are partly responsible for a lot of it so he's been good to me lately.

I orignally was going to dynamat the door but decided it wasn't worth pulling the plastic membrane off....basically I got lazy and figured if the felt didn't work I'd come back and do it.
There's got to be at least a few different door rattles we've been discussing.
- A click or cracking sound near the window controls on the driver door
( I got rid of it by dynamatting around the holes that the orange plastic things snap in to holes with)
- Rattles from the door finisher and door.
- A sound like raining on a tin roof, or a creaking flexing sound that appears to be coming from the weather stripping around the window.
(This is the one that is killing me. Can't find it.)

I've taken the whole door finisher off and the ratlling was still happening. The only way to get rid of noise is to crack open the window just a little bit. Only happens when I'm going slow. Like over a speed bump or down the driveway ramp to street.
