Well, we all know that the front seats leans forward but have any of you experienced the driver seat moving from side to side when hitting moderate to hard turns? It feels as though the nuts may be loose but upon checking, I find that the seats are firmly in place. I also thought that maybe there was something under the chair (ex: water bottle/ball/etc) rolling around and hitting the sides when turning but have been unable to uncover any hidden surprises. Anybody?

No clue. Mine got creaky but was always solid. As for the lean, I just drove up to VT in mine. Mine does have the lean variable setting on the passenger seat, but it also does have a more forward lean than the driver's seat from neutral so I may put in the spacers to average it out. Also, it would be very annoying if I didn't have the variable tilt. ;)

I have the side to side shake on my passenger side. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs after my dealer said there is no fix, and now Nissan will get me a new seat.

Call them.....they took care of me very good.

Ehh...dealing w/ Nissan Consumer Affairs...took me half a year to get an issue resolved that was their fault, and thats after calling and nagging for days on end. Not looking forward to it but this damn chair is driving me nuts. Thanks for the feedback guys.

I took in my creaking and they ordered a new seat frame without any questions. Probably just a bad dealer if they don't make good on the spot.

I have that same problem with the wifes Maxima. The Armada is solid, but the Maxima is loose from side to side. It is also the Drivers side. I did take it in to the dealer and all they told me was that they re-tightened the seat screws. They also told me that it was all that they could do. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem with the seat back....apparently the bolts that connect the back part the seat frame were stripped and very loose. The dealer repaired by using a tap to chase the original threads on the frame and installed new bolts. Now the only problem I have is a creaky seat.
