anyone have pics of driving lights not mounted on a bull bar? if no pics, where did/can you mount a set of driving/fog lights? What lights are recommended?

This is probably totally not what info you want but If you have a Yakima roof rack, I know they make a mounting kit I imagine Thule does as well.

Otherwise, I'm guessing you could drill into the front bumper, I'd just be sure everthing was perfectly placed before doing it.

I realize this probably isn't much help but maybe the others can add in any thoughts.
