I want to know who is offering a kit to lower a 2004 Armada? I see alot of great looking rides on this site with 22's and 24' but no one talks about how they lowered them.

I saw an Armada a few months ago that was lowered about 2" all around. I'm guessing the 2"
It had 22" wheels and looked great lowered. I didn't have a chance to talk to the guy driving. But he had a 310 license plate frame. I called 310 and they said they've lowered a couple Armadas but were all done custom. New coils and revalved shocks and other stuff. Probably too expensive for me.
If someone comes out with a professional kit, I'd sign up.

It makes the Armada look longer, wider, and an even meaner Beast.

Just found this on the net. Check it out!

What makes Nissan Armada Intrax springs better? Intrax designs most of its Nissan Armada lowering kits with progressive rates, to satisfy the two features you've asked for most. First, the lowered look. Most other brands' springs are linear rate, as this is cost-effective but doesn't necessarily provide the visual effect you desire. By designing a progressive spring, we achieve the lowered look while maintaining safety standards of spring preload at suspension droop. The second requirement is ride quality. Since most of you identified that you drove 90% of your mileage to and from work, you wanted to retain the same ride quality enjoyed with OE springs. If you're driving to work on a racetrack, "Sport" or "Race" springs from other brands may be for you. Nissan Armada Intrax progressive springs provide high performance looks and comfortable ride quality.

Intrax creates the finest Nissan Armada springs, from start to finish. Nissan Armada Intrax springs begin the forming process with cold winding to the most exacting standards. Within two hours of forming, springs are stress relieved in an oven (not to be confused with heat treating), and then shot peened to remove surface imperfections and further relieve internal stress. This can extend service life of a spring up to 200% or more. Next, the spring is "blocked" (wound to a longer length than required, and set in a hydraulic press to obtain designed free length). This eliminates the "settling" other brands require, due to the lower cost of their production processes. Finally, springs are Phosphate coated for corrosion resistance, and electrostatically powder coated to ensure a lifetime of outstanding looks.

How much space is under between the tire well and the tire?
I will be towing a X-Star boat and don't want to mess up the towing.
I saw some springs for a 2" drop. Not convienced that is the way to go.
How is the ride on the 24's?
BTY nice ride.

thanks!

i honestly don't know how much space there's between the well and the tire. i've never bothered to look. sorry bro.

the ride is nice. i won't lie to you and tell you it's just like stock......it's a lil stiffer. but most, if not all, of my passengers hardly notices it. you can feel the difference when you're on the wheel.....you feel more of the road. but on the upside, it handles a lot better!

Man you talk a lot of ****!! Your truck looks mad whack on those discount twenty's so just shut the **** up and leave other peoples posts alone. I've seen your ****ing opinion on every lowering post here. Do you really have that much angst against lowering a car that doesn't even belong to you?
