STupid question here,
they are installing my myron davis tomorrow. They told me the sound needs to be through fm modulator. If that is the case, I cannot listen to a radio channel while the DVD sound goes through the back?

Is that how the factory one is?

If they hook it up to AUX, will that mean that I can listen to the radio in the front and the dvd through the rear speakers??

That sucks if I have to listen to my 2 year olds dvds all the time lol.
he's too small for headphones.

Please let me know your thought as they are installing tomorrow morning and if it makes a difference, I will have them hook it up through the AUX.

I think the M&D has it's own IR transmitter so the audio from the dvd can be listened through it, independant of what you listen to on the HU. The aux signal doesn't got to the rear controls, but I would hook up to that at a minimum so you can listen to the audio over the cabin speakers with decent quality if you want. Best way is to tap the factory DVD input but that will take so doing that a installer won't likely undertake.

I just got back from the install.. They did hook it up to the AUX. No fm bs. lol
I'm not sure exactly how they tapped into it, but it really doesn't matter I guess..
Sounds awesome and have headphones too.

I'm very excited... for my son anyways.. lol
