Engine won't start and "lock" light comes on?

Hi all,

My 2010 Armada is not starting. I turn the ignition, and it clicks but it won't start. As soon as the ignition gets into the ON position, it flashes this light on the screen. I've never seen it before and I can't find anything about it online or in the owner's manual. What's odd though is that when I take the key out of the fob and try starting it with that, it still won't start but it doesn't come up with this light. Anyone know what this could mean? TIA.

do you have another key to test? it looks like the fob and/or physical key are not communicating to the ecm. if you changed the battery on the fob and that did not make any change, it could be the chip on the key has lost its connection to the ecm. it needs to be reprogrammed.
also how is the 12v battery?

Scan it and see if any codes come up. That's most likely an issue with NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System AKA the immobilizer) we can completely bypass it as part of an Uprev tune if you can't get it figured out. Email me/ PM me for details.
