All I can say is WOW!! This beauty handles like a car. Never had an SUV and was a Truck Man for the longest time. I am slow in posting the pix but I'll just attach it here afterwards.

It was raining that day and the first thing on my mind.. I am going to slide. With its wide base and new tires i was well confident that vehicle will stay on the right path. Although I was tempted to press the VDC and see what it does, but there was no need. I was packed with 4 kids, 2 inlaws, and my beautiful wife. Life sure is a breeze when you have that DVD playing. It was so quiet!!! I can't believe it. No one was complaining. Complaining usually starts when they are hungry or need to take a bathroom break.

Feeling the 300+ horses under the hood was a bit of a surprise to me. It hauled like there was no passengers and growled like a sports car on steroids. I had a moment when one truck tried to squeeze me in when entering the freeway.. Either stop or Go.. You figure.. Enough Said...

For the gas mileage, it performed more than I expected. If I stayed under 80, i get 20 - 21/ If I press on it, 17mpg. I was pressing on it most of the time because I can't believe how much power this thing have.

Ok, enough of me talking. Just wanted to share my experience.. :D

20-21?!?! unbelievable!!

I get 14 if I'm light footed and on the higway with only me in the truck. My usual mileage is 12.9 90% highway 10% city.

Good luck with your new Armada, and have fun whooping the eclipses and hondas that think they are sports cars!

Must have been going downhill with a 50 MPH tailwind. Almost 15,000 miles on mine and the best I have ever got was 16 MPG.
:)
Say What!!

I do not even allow myself to check the MPG anymore, I know it is not good. Still, if you want to tow you got to pay the freight. We have had our Armada since 4/4/04 and I would not buy a different truck.
My best avg for a tank was 18.6 mpg ... 80mph flat highway

Ok, There's a thread in the bottom that the wind might be pushing us behind. It may be true because it took us awhile to fill up. I don't usually let the fuel needle drop half way anyway. But you are right it can haul a$$. I will note my mileage info starting next week, just for kicks.

As promised.. Here's she is. Parked overlooking Hoover Dam! Dam that's a really beauty! Hey! Just proud to be an owner just like you guys!! :D
