I have had 3 flats (2 this past weekend) in the last 3 months (have only had my Armada for about 6). Each flat has occured while driving main local gravel roads, and has resulted in 1" tears that could not be patched. My tires are the stock 4-ply Goodyear Wrangler SR-A P265R70-18. Have replaced them with a more durable A/T at $250 ea

Has anyone else had a problem with these "highway" tires?

Thank you,

Ras

no problems with mine, but I haven't had a chance to take her off road in the 4 months since I've had her.

Sad tire

Wow, and I thought my stock Continentals were junk (they are). But I have not any flats towing a heavy toybox on rough gravel roads. What are those Goodyear tires made of, milk cartons or what? My Conti's are wearing out Very fast. And $250 each? OUCH!

HI, I just found this site, what a great site. I just had a flat tire and when I took it to repair they found tear on inside. Only have 3700 mi on it. Sounded suspisious to me but I couldn't prove tire faulty, so had to buy new tire and tire pressure sensor cuz of damage to it with the flat!
