Front Passenger Seat - '04

Has anyone modified the front passenger seat to make it more comfortable? My wife finds herself (and me too when I sit there) sliding forward all the time. It's only a 3-way adjustment unlike the driver's seat. I'm thinking about going to an upholstery shop to see if they can bolster the seat cushion or something to make it better. Anyone else noticed this?

I'm about to try and fix mine. There are two bolts holding the front on the seat pan on to the seat frame. I'm going to take longer bolts and some spacers to try and tip it up an inch.

someone on the titantalk has done this. Others just put spacers under the front legs which I wouldn't suggest doing as I believe there are possible safty issues doing it that way.
Please let me know how it works out for you. Thanks!
I put about a 3/8" aluminum spacer between the front seat mounts and the floor. Helped out somewhat. Still not near as comfortable as the seats in my Volvo, but they'll do.

Thanks for the feedback. From your experience, do you think 3/4" or 1" would make it better? Any issues with installing the washers?

The non-power seats don't tilt the seat back and forth. There has been complaints about the angle before. Most people put a spacer up there. ;)

The power doesn't either. The rear of the seat bottom only tilts up from level, which doesn't make any sense. :duh:
Guess mine are different.

My '04 front driver seat also adjusts up and down for both front and back of seat. Go figure??
