Errgh! Some one backed into my Mada and clipped the right( passenger side) bumper cover. Actually put a small dent in my crome center piece, and the Bumper cover( where the fog light mounts) actually came loose. It appears the push clips that hold it on were broken in the impact. I used 100 mile an hour tape to hold in place till I get to the dealer and find out how much this will cost me to repair. It also looks like that side of the metal bumper has been pushed in just slightly as the small trim piece under the head light is pooched out a bit.
It really irks me that people cant park with out hitting your vehicle. One more thing that grips my cheeks is that they didnt even leave a note. Some times I wish i had a 8" steel pipe bumper so I wont be the victom of the lunatic fringe.
Im just waiting to see what this will cost me?????:damn:

This kind of thing chaps my a$$! I learned how to handle a large vehicle, why can't some nimrods learn to handle their teeny sedans.

I had a 98 GMC for about 2 weeks and parked it out in the middle of the mall lot away from all of the cars. Came out to find a sedan height crease form the driver side fender to the bed of the truck. There were no cars parked within about ten spaces. It makes you want to smack some fools!

One of the reasons that I got this color (granite), little dings are not as visible as it would on Red Braun or Galaxy (black) colors, although those colors look so good after a good wash and wax! My only remedy for this is to park in Never Neverland, far far away from everyone. Maybe you can get an estimate on how much it will cost to repair. Once you get the estimate go with which ever one is cheaper, the cost to repair or your deductable.

Update

Took the Armada to the Allstate appraiser. He recommended we change the whole bumper, along with the passenger extension cover. Cost to replace $846 and some change. What gets me is that I just upped my deductible from $250 to $500, so I get to bare the brunt of this repair. Its in the shop now should have it out by Thursday.
I was searching the net for winch bumpers, and although there isnt a hefty steel bumper made for our Armada's at this point several sites said comming soon. Of course the price for a hefty steel winch bumper is around $1400, but oh would I like to go on a rampage. Just kidding.
Oh by the way, here in Pittsburgh so many areas here use parallel parking so I see so many driving challenged halfwitts attempting to park their Vw's it isnt funny anymore.

Final Outcome

After the body shop tore apart the front bumper they called Allstate and said both extension covers needed replaced. Final cost was a bit over $1,000 for the stock replacement. They did a good job. Now I think I'll committ to a bull bar and maybe a RPG launcher for those almost to tight spots. Maybe just clear a path before parking.
