Does any one know what is involved in removing the front roof rack assembly?

Seem like most duties could be handled by the rear cross bars alone.

Also will the cross bar on the front fit the rear bracket that has no cross bar?

This may be a stupid question because I haven't even looked up there except from the ground. New car.

Waiting for wheels and Borla system to come in.

Any one done this?

Thanks,
Allen

The cross bar on the front will not fit the rear. You can remove the front rack by removing the two phillips head screws that hold on the plastic covers, then the two screws that hold on the rack (on each side). But you will then have the holes left in the roof that you will have to fill. One screw "nut" on each side is in a recess, while the other protudes above the roof. It won't look good removed. If you search here you will find another thread about this.

How many cross bars are on the rear from the factory? I only have 1 on the rear and before I go to the dealer and scream bloody murder, I want to make sure that there are supposed to be 2 on the rear and not 1.

They come with only one. You can buy another one for about $90.00.
