Your local auto parts store should have a locking cap for your Armada. Stant and others make them.

The Nissan dealer which I bought the MADA does not sell it since they claimed the after market locking fuel cap will throw a code and check engine to the vehicle since the cap does not seal properly.
Online stores and local auto-store should carry them.

Just my $0.02

Most Nissan dealers and on-line parts & accessory stores sell locking gas caps for your Armada.
And most dealers will tell you it doesn't seal very well so expect to get the SES light....at least mine and a few others reported hearing the same thing. I wish they would put a system like Infiniti has on their cars at least. When you lock the car the gas cap door is also locked, unlock the car and the gas cap door unlocks. My sister-in-law was complaing for weeks that sometimes she could open the flap and other times it wouldn't open. She told me the story after I asked why all the paint was chipped off her brand new car around the gas cap door...I guess it won't pry open with the key either:) . She was locking the car to go in and pay for gas and not unlocking it when she would come back to the car sometimes before trying to fuel up. Someone finally told her there is a book in the glove box that explains certain features of the car and she might take a few minutes to read it and learn a few more tricks.

That is funny...my mother in law has a GX35 and did the same thing.

The OEM gas cap is designed to hold a certain amount of vacuum (not pressure) on the the gas tank and evaporative emissions system (EVAP). Many manufacturers put a plastic tether on the gas cap so that the correct gas cap stays with the vehicle. An aftermarket gas cap may fit the filler neck, but may not have the correct vacuum rating. When the computer runs a leak check on the EVAP system, an incorrect vacuum reading will set a code in the computer and turn on the check engine light.

I appreciate the information and will be sending my Stant locking cap back!

For some people, it is not about gas security. It's about salt and sugar in the gas tank.

WOW! I didn't know there was such an epidemic! I guess I'm kind of sheltered here on the Oregon coast. Gas prices are kind of high right now but come on! If I see any spinach in your car, however, I'm gonna jack your ride! I can get like 6 bucks a lb at the underground produce stands!

Truth be told, no big epidemic. If someone really want to steal your gas, they will poke a hole in your tank, as someone pointed out to me in another post. I am sure there are a few crackheads syphoning gas, but just a few.
