Thanks for this post! I'm a new member and just read through the service bulletins. I found three problems that I have with my Armada listed in the service bulletins (rear window wind noise, FM radio reception, auto up/down front window controls). While the problems have been a pain, knowing they are known issues with fixes is encouraging. I've printed out the bulletins and I'm on my way to the dealer right now.

Thanks again.

Gotta love that they put out a TSB warning people not to stack their floormats.

Thanks for the heads up.
My Wife fricken does this and it pi$$es me off to no end. She has floor mats that protect floor mats . Everytime I get in I throw them out in the driveway, tell her how dangerous it is but the next time I get in they are back?

I went in there today for the front window rattles with the TSB in hand. They are ordering the parts tomorrow, and they said 5-7 business days before it comes in. I hope it really gets fixed :)
Which dealership are you using?

Tsb Notices

I am a new member looking to purchase a '05 MADA. It's really great to be able read all the personal ownership experiences which gives a true insight of the vehicle really is all about inside out. I am currently focused on the '05 LE 4X4 Galaxy which seems to have all the nice stuff. I can do just as well with the SE 4X4 because I personally like the cloth seats. It appears to have same ride. The leather smells and bites back and wished they offered the cloth option in the LE. I am curious as to why some of you really purchased a muscle monster like the Mada. I know I need a big vehicle that really handles and fuctions well. Excursions, Navigators and Suburbans become rolling buses and don't really have any character appeal. I was glad someone posted the TSB site as I really wanted to know if there have been improvements to '04 model production nightmares. So far I have noticed as I read the General Discussions that the '05 owners have fewer problems. I am holding off for the actual purchase because I know that Nissan has a tendency, like all car manufacturers for making minor changes and improvements without telling the general public. Hopefully by the time I make a purchase the beast will come with all the latest tech updates. I seriously would like to see Nissan give the MADA some kind of fender flare treatment. The giant polywog facade looks great and musclular but enormous side panels could use refinement like the QX56. I don't like the sea whale face front grill of the QX56 where as the MADA is so much better. The QX56 does have a few exterior and interior refinements that the MADA should adopt also. As I have read, some of you guys really know your stuff about this vehicle and there couldn't be a better resource for info tha what you got to say. Some of your messages really get me laughing to look on the bight side of things. I am very pleased to be a member and hope to be able to share my thoughts and experiences at whatever time becoming a ARMADA owner. Keep the good rap going. Best Regards to all -

Welcome!

Welcome to clubarmada!

There is lots of great information and a great bunch of folks here..glad to have you aboard.

I think the '05's are pretty much where they need to be from what I've been able to tell. I've driven a couple and they both were great, and I haven't seen many posts from '05 owners complaining, so I think you'll be alright.

Post some pics, and let us know of any mods you plan to do!
