I know I've cut back on my driving of the Mada because of rising gas prices, I've been using my Honda Accord to get back and forth to work. Just wondering, what is everyone paying for gas and what city/state. Haven't checked today, but I filled up 2 days ago at $1.52/gallon. I'm really considering trading in the Armada due to gas prices.

I've got to assume that you meant $2.52 I was driving to work and people were lining up like the 70's to get gas at $2.75 fearing the worst that prices are going to shoot through the roof, which they probably will. Also saw $2.59, and $2.85 on the same drive to work. If it hits $4.00 guess what, people are still going to buy it. What are you going to do, other than get rid of your truck, not me. My solution is better money management. All I have to do is convince the wife not to eat out 2 times a month and WALLAH! there's my gas money. I bet people don't even know where they spend their money on a monthly basis. They probably waste more money at the movies and paying late fees on everything, that if they managed it better they could find the money to pay for gas, which they will anyway. I remember when gas was a buck! Some of the old timers may remember when it was a quarter. I've only heard the stories. I won't let gas prices dictate what type of vehicle I drive. It would be tough to get my twins and Nana in the back of an accord.

The gas at the local exxons, mobiles etc is anywhere from 3.05 to 3.15 i think i saw.

I drive my Mada local for the most part. It's Killin me, but I won't give her up. I'll find a way to keep the Mada heavy and hawking. Toomuch of a pleasure to drive.

I live in NW Arkansas (ArKaNsAs) and the gas on Monday was $2.49 and in the last two days after katrina it has gone up to $2.98. The spike is a pain but I have to still get around so I will pay whatever it takes within reason but still.

Over here in El Paso,Texas we're @ 2.99 a gallon. It's gone up .50 in the last two days. I don't know how much more it's going to go up but it's going to get tough.

Paid 2.85 yesterday in So. Cali. These gas prices really suck :machinegu . good news is that I picked up a 94 civic couple weeks back for $600, I filled it up, lasted 2 weeks (349 miles). It is only a 15 gal. tank, but hell that still runs about $45 to fill up. I see my childrens college money literally being burnt up.

I just drove around Florida. $2.89 for regular in Venice. $2.69 in Lakeland, $2.94 in Orlando. Most stations were out in Orlando also. My buddy in Chicago says the station behind him is selling super for $3.89 (not a typo) and Atlanta has some stations at $5+/- because some pipeline was damaged.
