The Armada is designed to run on regular gas. Read your manual. There is no benifit in using a higher octane gas.

There is no harm in using 87 but I think the adaptive ECU will recognize when higher octane is used. It may effect hp as well as mpg.

Don't waste your hard earned money

The oil companies are already making enough money from your Armada's fairly uneconomical status. scr38 is correct and there are no benefits to using a higher octane fuel. Read you manual and then just use google.com and search for "octane rating". This knowledge will save you a bundle of $$$ over a lifetime.
