This is normal. You will also hear the servo motors close the A/C dampers.

GAUGES FLUTTERING...... tu.rn car off if you wait about3 minutes and watch speedo and RPM theyll go up, down and back to normal ...is this Normal anyone else got this???

If it bothers you - you can always go to NAPA and retrofit a carb and a manual choke.
