A newbie here .. please be forgiving .. LOL

I've read a few of the threads .. browed eBay .. etc ..

I've spotted a few different grille (I guess they're called inserts) .. chrome, painted, mesh, verticle and horizontal bars ..

My question .. are these inserts "replacements" to the OEM plastic grille or are they intended to be place in-front of the OEM plastic grille?

I have the have a Street Scene grille, and it is an insert. It fits into the grille assembly and clips into place. I would imagine all the ones that run between $100 to $300 are inserts. No real function but they look good.

Thanks for the feedback .. "looking good vs function" ?? Thats what I thought .. .. I figured it was a way to "personalize" the Armada (inexpensively) .. for the short term ...
