Found this today while under the truck.
I don't even know how you would tighten this up with those plastic rivets.
This is between the gas tank and exhaust pipe on the driver's side near where the front/rear doors split.

Thanks for pointing this out. I will check it out next oil change.
Welcome. I haven't thought about how to tighten it up yet though.
If those plastic rivets are anything like most of the others on our vehicle, chances are they will break upon removal.

So I got back under there yesterday with my trim removal tools... the proper ones for removing those plastic pins throughout our vehicle... and no-go on popping any of those out. It would have snapped (or folded) the heads of those rivets. So I am not even sure that is the design of them.

I put some Gorilla tape across them and that is holding it well in place. We'll see how well that stands up to the heat of the exhaust pipe that's about 3 inches away. Probably should have went with exhaust tape. That will be the next step if the Gorilla tape melts.
