Hello to everyone!! Not sure if my first post actually made it out, so I'll try this again.

I've test driven every full size SUV out there and I just love the Armanda. I've been a Nissan owner since the mid 80's and I cannot say a bad thing about any of my old cars. I am a little worried though that the 04's had problems so I am very interested to see how everyone here has made out with their 04’s and 05’s. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

1. The problems with the '04 were minor. Squeeks, rattles, and warping brake rotors were the majority of the problems.
2. The '05 fixed most of these. No more sqeeks or rattles. The brake rotor fix was rolled out in May. Armandas made prior to rollout have brakes covered by warranty and replaced for free with new parts if needed.

I've been to shop one time. I had a click in the rear hubs. Turns out they changed the spec for grease on the hubs and a couple dabs resulted in no click.
Only thing I would change right out the gate I did change. The stock tires stink. I went with the tires in my sig. but there are some options out there that fit the stock rims. Made a huge difference in the ride quality and handling.

This is my favorite vehicle and like you I have tried them all. Good luck!

Long time Nissan owner

I too have owned alot of Nissan vehicles and after driving and looking around I decided to get the Armada. I do not regret it although I have had minor problems with the front rotors( new fix not on yet, only 7100 miles) but other than that I have had no problems. I find the Armada to be a great vehicle, classy, beefy, and just down right a pleasure to drive. Good luck, and enjoy the ride. :schla24:

Thanks for the input! After thinking more about it and reading some posts here, I decide that I am ready to go! I have a good deal waiting for me but I think I might wait for the '06s to come out to see about making an even better deal on the 05. Not sure if I can wait the two months!!
