Hello! I just purchased an 05 Armada from Mossy. Thought I check out the site and ask for info in case I need or would like to share some thoughts about the SUV. All I can say is its a cool SUV, first time owning one. Had a 2001 Tacoma Dbl Cab, but could not fit the family and its not meant for travelling. My second post will be about Mobile Video, got to find the forum section, so please help out. Thanks and love to be here!!

4x4 vs 4x2

Trying to decide on which to buy a 4x4 or 4x2. I don't tow or live in the snow.
Can you help me decide why I would need a 4x4. Thanks

Depends on what you plan on using it for.
4x4 gives you more traction but theoretically eats up gas from increased weight and friction, though I haven't noticed. With the 4x4 -4x2 switch, it minimizes this. I got 4x4 because I go on ski trips, tow, drive on beaches, and go light off-roading. I also have used it to pull trees upright that were knocked over in hurricanes.

I use it. Some people don't. But to me, I have a personal thing against trucks and SUVs that are 4x2. To me, they are just clunky vans without 4x4.
