I am happy that I found this web site. I have learnd alot for all of you and I have to say thank you. I am from South Jersey and I am hooked on an Armada. I am in the market to buy a SUV and I test drove one last week. I was amazed by the size and how easy it is to drive. I have a friend of a friend that has an '04 LE with NAV/DVD/leather. No back up camera. Has 19,000 miles with brakes fixed by a Nissan dealer. He has the paper work to prove it. Anyway, I need your help. He's asking in the mid 30k's for this car. If you were in my shoe's, would you consider buying it? My friend, which is close but not that close, tells me the Armada is garage kept and not scratches or dings on it. The owner sent me pics of it and it looks good to me.

Would you consider buying this SUV? And how much is the back view camera going for? Is it easy to install? I am not very technical. Anyway, anyfeed back is appreciated.

Thanks

I think the price is far too high. With the discounts the dealers have now, and nearing the end of the 06 model year, you should be able to buy a new Armada for near that price.

Look up pricing on Kelley Blue Book here http://www.kbb.com/

People generally ask far more than their vehicles are really worth. After market additions are unfortunately (for the seller) only worth a fraction of their original price. I just checked, and that vehicle in my zip code area is high book, private party, excellent condition (pristine, in other words) 32k. Generally speaking, 4x4s tend to sell for a slight bit higher here in the NW as there is more demand than other parts of the country, but that said, I didn't check a zip for NJ.
Oh yeah, that was for a 4x4, you didn't indicate 4x4 or 2wd. Big price difference there also.
