Hi,

Just bought a 04 Armada (4x4, LE, Chrome rims). I traded in a 04 Toyota 4runner Sort Edition 4x4 V8. I got a great deal on the Armada, there were still 3 04's on the lot and they had to move them. I am having a hard time getting used to all the noise in the cab but love the size and POWER. I have been watching this site since I bought the Armada. I found a lot of info I am hoping to use to get rid of all the rattles and I am not worried that Nissan will take care of the breaks, eventually.
This seems to be a great site with a lot of good people and good info. I must say if I had logged onto this site before I bought the Armada, I do not know if I would have made the purchase. But, every time I turn the key and hear the sound of my new beast I think it will be worth all the hours in service department to get all the bugs worked out. :noworries

Welcome to ClubArmada! I have had my Armada for a little over a year and I still like to hear that sound when I start the engine. It lets you know that you have a powerful engine that's ready to go! Glad you found the site and post often.

Yea welcome, that is one nasty engine, and trust me Nissan will work out all the little bugs, it's what they do best. For Instance, we have a altima in the dealer last week, that they flew in an engineer from japan, to install prototype rack and pinions in the altima, very impressive.

That is good news. My service rep will call me when my door handle is in. Yeah, I have the chrome coming off the driver side door handle. He will also look at the excessive wind noise coming from the "closed" sun roof, the rattle from the sun roof sliding cover, and the lift gate sound like it is falling apart on rough roads. Once I get those eliminated I will work on the other noises.
