Test drove an '05 LE Armada 3 weeks ago. I was very impressed. I had never seen one before. This vehicle is on my wishlist!

I have been reading this forum all day, (my wrist hurts!) one thing I am alittle concerned about are the brake issues. We will be purchasing the '06 next summer. I need a vehicle that is not going to give me any problems. My husband will be in Kuwait for a year, so less problems the better.

Do you all honestly recommend this SUV? The way I look at it is this........it's a lot of money to be spending, nothing major should go wrong.

Thanks,
M.

My wife test drove it and we did not even have to test drive any other SUV and she fell in love with the Beast, Brake problems where on the 04 and the 05, But Nissan addressed the brake issue and every one has a permenant fix, since you are getting the 06, then you have nothing to worry about( I hope ). and post some pictures when you get it. Thanks hope u will be a permenant member :)
I test drove the Toyota Sequioa, GMC Yukon and Nissan Armada...the Nissan is the best of the breed.

I have been VERY happy with my 05 LE

I absolutely think its the best Full size SUV available on the market. The brake issue was common throughout the industry. Nissan fixed it and all '06 have the new brakes. '04 and '05 are having them installed retro by the dealer for free. The warranty was extended on them for 3 years unlimited mileage so don't be afraid to get an '05 on a good deal. Just have them put the new rotors and pads in before you take delivery. Nissan has stepped up and fixed all the issues I've heard of that these have had. The worst issue was brakes, which still functioned and didn't fail. Other makers have had far worse problems than this minor issue. I think you will be very happy like I am with a new Armada in the driveway. Far more dependable than any domestic SUVs available. And you can see from the vette in my sig, I am not an "import" guy, I just buy what's the best available. ;)
