Hey all,

Had something weird tonight- this very high pitched squeal coming from the passenger rear tire. I'm assuming brakes, but I'm curious if anyone has had this happen? It would come and go, even no matter if we were on the gas or braking. My wife was driving and I was riding shotgun, and the noise didn't change even when she applied the brakes, so I'm stumped.

Hey scr38, any ideas? You're our local guru- :)

It could be the wear indicator on the brake pad, or the seals on the axle hub. There have been some problems with the grease in the rear hubs. A dry seal would squeal like that. I had that problem on the front of my Pathfinder I used to have.
