how much should I pay

My dealer is shooting me a price of 500.00 over invoice. This is an '05 and it is currently June. I feel that it should be lower considering the '06's will be in soon. Second question: Does anyone know how the armada is selling currently?

a lot of factors are involved in bargaining:

Number of Nissan dealers close by
your particular model and how you want it accessorized, how easy is it to find
your region, probably not too many 4X4s sold where it doesn't snow

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than invoice if not less. not too many 40K trucks with an optimistic EPA estimate of MPG in the high teens are 'flying' off the lots.

Edmunds.com may have some figures on current sales
I have 3 dealers within 15 miles of me, and one of them had 30 (no kidding) Armadas on the lot, so I was able to go 500 below invoice without really pushing too hard (I only walked out once). Do you have another dealer you could play against your current dealer? Are you flexible on opions/color/trim level? Do you have a little time or work with? As GM is doing the "employee discount" program, and Ford is offering $5000 cash back on the Expedition, people are able to get pretty good deals on big SUV's right now. I would push for invoice or below, but I'm a pushy guy.
Very good points.
As I said in the other post. I took delivery of my 05 last week and paid $33,500 out the door. I had bought other cars from that dealer and don't know if that helped or not, but with the MPG and the brake issues (I pray I don't encounter these problems), they are excited to move them off the lot. The sticker on mine, if I remember correctly was $37,200. It is a leather SE, No DVD, No Nav. They wanted $1600 for the DVD and god knows how much for Nav. I know where I'm going and can't justify $3000-$3500 for a map, lol.

BTW, I did look and drive the Tahoe, the H3, and the Expedition, none even came close. I almost made an offer on the Tahoe but it was still more expensive than the Made with same options, after the GM discount. NOt to mention, it drove horribly.. It was really, really bad on the highway. The Mada smacked it down.
