How to Get SOUND thru oem DVD Audio Port?

Pluged my ipod into the audio inputs on the oem DVD player, and hit the AUX button on the dash.. nothing worked. (yes i hit power on the DVD player first)

What am I missing here?

Thats exactly what i was missing!

Only problem now is, with the radio maxed out, and ipod turned up, i still can barley hear it!

Am i forgetting something else now too???
