The fan for A/C and Heat in our Armada doesn't work!! All of a sudden today it doesn't work I put the fan full blast and nothing is coming out of the vents except for very little air..I could feel hot air when I put the heat on, and I could feel cold air when i put the A/C on, but there's no power to push that air so i'm guessing the fan is busted or something..any suggestions on how to fix it? I guess get a new fan ? How much will this cost?

Check the fuses in the Fuse and Fusible Link box under the hood. Fuse 24 0r 27 may be bad. Check all the fuses. See attachment.

Thanks for the replies. My dad is going to Canadian Tire or something to check the fuses, but if that's not the case then I guess we need a new fan. I'll tune you in later on to see what happens.

Not the same fan. The TSB is talking about the A/C condenser fan just behind the grill. Hullio is talking about the inside blower.

Did you happen to notice if the blower (before it went out) sounded like it had kind of a "bad bearing" sound to it?

Yes whenever the A/C or Heat was on, a loud fan type noise was being made which can easily be heard when outside, but now whenever you put on the A/C or Heat no noise comes from outside...I could feel cold air coming from the vents when I put the A/C to the lowest setting (19 Celcius I think) and I put the fan on the highest setting, but the fan isn't blowing that cold air, I could feel the cold air when i put my palm infront of the vents..The same thing goes for when I put the Heat on the highest setting (32 celcius). My dad is at Canadian Tire right now as we talk lol, so i guess we'll find out in a small matter of time

OK finally..the Speed Modulator or something seems to not work, Canadian Tire ordered the new part and it's coming in tomorrow..Total cost for the new Speed Modulator = $90

70 000km is roughly 45 000 miles. i know i bought the extended warantee, to 160 000 km/ 100 000 miles or 2010,
which ever comes first

No we didn't buy any extended warranty..but anyways the good news is that the problem is fixed! The new speed module was installed yesterday and everything seems to be working fine! Thanks for the support guys
