What brand should I go with for my 04 Armada ignition coils?

If you can get Bosch for significantly cheaper, go for it.

You can also get double (16) of some of the cheaper brands and just keep the other 8 in the back for when they fail.

I went with NGK because a lot of older threads on this forum highly recommend them. But Bosch would likely work just as good. The Amazon price for the NGK coils is the really great price.

Note one year after install I carefully took one coil out to pull a spark plug , and the NGK coil came apart in two places. Was under three year warranty, so I got a new one free, but I’m worried about the other 7. You might want to consider putting dielectric grease on the new coils when you install them.

Just be careful with ordering off of Amazon. Not sure about coils, but I read several threads about counterfeit plugs from Amazon sellers which are nearly identical to genuine and you really can’t tell unless they are side by side with real ones.

General advice is to buy locally at an auto parts store or at least make sure it is a reputable seller.
