Hmmm. Well, no problems with mine.
Point one: No vehicles are without problems. Ours are minor.
Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, Escalade, Hummer: All share the same 6 liter motor. All have had head gasket after head gasket blow. Long repair, messy, leaves you stranded and can blow motor.
F150, Expedition: Share the same faulty rears that fail and grind more often than our brakes have problems.
Dodge? Next
Toyota: Not full size or full powered. Not much bigger and weaker than an explorer actually so wasn't an option for me.

Our brakes? They are pads wearing and rotors warping. Won't leave you stranded, easy and fast to replace. Fix is on the way in a couple months with a free recall.

They pretty much solved every problem that came up in the '04.

Afraid? What are your other options?

BTW, my other vehicles: G35 has same brake problem and they replaced them for free. Vette has a faulty distributor design that has stranded me twice. Jettas and VWs are notorious for electrical problems. My old Grand Cherokee was lucky as it didn't need 2 complete transmission swaps before 50K miles. Any other questions?

If you are still afraid, add a $1000 brake upgrade and brake better than a corvette. Not much more for a $40K+ truck.
