As I am considering purchasing an aftermarket grill, I had some questions regarding the installation process. I am looking at purchasing a grill that bolts on/over the existing stock grille and not running the NISSAN emblem with the new grille. However, my concerns are as follows:

1. Do you have to remove the NISSAN emblem on the main grille to install the aftermarket or does it just lay over it? If it does have to be removed, how is this done?

2. Do you have to remove the main grille to access and install either the main grill portion or the bumper grill portion?
I found a thread on the removal of the stock grill. Although it seems simple enough, is this absolutely necessary to remove to get to the bumper grill? Is it recommended to be easier this way?

Sorry for all the Newby questions, but just didn't want to bite off more than I could chew.
Thanks

I am pretty sure you have to remove the emblem, I don't have access to my workshop manual just now but I seem to remember it is held on by two clips / attacments at the back. When I have read the instructions for fitting billet grills its best (or you have to ) remove the original to attach the new to the old.

hope that helps
