I'm going to buy a non-loaded 4x2 05 LE armada tomorrow for 35,620+TTL which comes out to 38,112. The sticker price was 39,620. I'm pretty sure i'm going to get 2% financing that is going on right now. Is this a good deal or what?

I'd say it's a good deal - but make darned sure you don't want 4 wheel drive. I can't imagine my Armada not having 4wd - but then I live in Indiana (we're getting about 10" of snow tonight as I'm typing this lol).

If you're in SoCal or someplace where you've never seen snow - go for it. I'm not sure if the 4x2 comes with traction control... but I know that my Armada does just fine on wet roads in 2wd with traction control on.

Enjoy it! Post a pic when you pick yours up, and welcome to the club!

I just got home from Austin, TX with my Smoke/graphite LE 4x4 tech/DVD for invoice and 2% financing. The Armada has the built date of 1/05, came with 7 miles on the odometer and the drive home was awesome, no squeaks or rattle at all. Several drivers flashed me thinking my high beam was on or something, but may be because the Armada is so high it shines straight into other driver's face, or into their rear view mirror:)

70mph gets me 17+ mpg. Tonight was especially windy and the armada suffered some wind noise but still less than the 2004 infiniti fx 35 i traded in for. I am getting 400+ miles per tank as opposed to 360 miles/tank in the FX 35 which is kinda weird. Overall, i love the vehicle so far. No pictures yet!

Congrats Tien on your new Armada! You will be very happy with your choice!

Regarding the headlight thing - I get a lot of people flashing their brights at me as well. The Armada's lights are very bright, and very high up. It's a real awakening for people when you blink your brights right back at them!

I wonder if there is a zenon headlight kit (or whatever it's called) for the Armada. I like the blue tint on the Escallades and Acuras with those lights. Does anyone know if they're available (quality ones!!!) for the Armada?

Thanks, I'm really happy with the purchase. I'm pretty sure there is an HID retrofit kit for our headlights. I know the QX56 comes standard with HID. I actually did a 20 page report on HID headlights for one of my classes a couple of years ago. heh. If you were to get a HID kit for the headlights you should go more than 4300k or around 5000k has a bright white light. Anything above that rating say like 7000k, the more blue the light is, which actually causes you to see less.

If you think people flash you now with your current headlights, wait till you get the HIDs. Some people do not aim them right and it blinds people, sometimes it looks like a constant highbeam. HID retrofit kits were actually illegal when I was writing my report. I still think they are. If you actually read the "disclaimer" on the package of the HID retrofit kits, it will say that it is only for show use, "off-road" and can not be used on public roadways.

I'll probbaly get one anyways..heh I'll wait a couple of months before I start modding my armada.

Of these people flashing me. One guy let me pass so he could high beam me, so I tired to out run him :D And then I let him pass and showed him the meaning of HIGH BEAMS  It gets petty annoying after a while; I've been thinking about taking her in and see if the light could be adjusted a little lower so that it doesn't hit right in the back of smaller cars...... Then on the other hand fudge'em
