Just installed cool seatcovers

Don't know about you guys, but I need seat covers as my vehicle usage calls for it. My wife thinks its stupid to buy leather and then cover it up. I call it preserving it for the future. In any event, if you haven't seen wet okoles, they are really cool. I had them in a couple of previous vehicles and really liked them. They are made of neoprene (scuba suit stuff), fully washable and you can get them custom made. They stay very cool in the summer (I'm in florida so my car BAKES) The set I got is the black with silver inset and I got a color american flag graphic on the drivers seat and a color Marine Corps bulldog on the passenger seat. The graphics are small enough so they don't look stupid, but large enough to look cool.

Just thought I'd share. Not sure if I am allowed to post links, so if not, sorry.

I would like to see what your truck looks like if able to post'em. I want to put in custom covers but I don't want it to look tacky

I'll try to take some digital pics this evening for you. I think they look great and really do what they are intended to do. I cannot recall anyone that has ever seen them on any vehicle that i have had that has thought they were tacky. I'm sure some did. Heck, I even went with the black border, desert camoflague inset in my Z06 Vette. When I would go to shows, I always had guys asking me where I got em.
Please do post some pics. I'd actually like to get some leather covers for mine, but I'd like to see the okoles as well. I've heard good things about them on other forums.
I'm also thinking of getting covers myself since in Vegas it can get a bit hot around 108-115+ of pure dryness lol.
I'm seriously considering these as I use mine to tow a jetski to the ocean almost all year round. Salt water doesn't like leather.
Question on seat covers...

Would seat cover effect the Air Bags in the seats... I know my seats have air bags inside the upper part of both outside seats to protect in side impact crashes...

I would say dude has a really good question. I'm sure the force of the air bags deploying is pretty intense, but enough to shear through a car seat cover especially high quality covers is hopeful at best. This is one mod I won't be adding to my Suvee.
Airbags

I thought the side curtain airbags were in the pillars...
The leather seats have additional air bags in the outside edge of the seat backs. These protect the upper body area on side impact.
These look pretty good. I like how it finishes the back of the seat, but would like a pocket in the back of both of them....this whole side airbag has me wondering, my drivers seat back kept coming unsnapped and the dealer had an upholstry shop sew it together. I wonder if they are meant to blow the back snaps out when they go off?

fyi on the airbag and Okole seat covers plus some photos from a titan install.

*"Wet Okole seat covers are tested for seat airbag compatibility. Wet Okole Hawaii make special seat covers for seat deployed airbag compatibility. Be sure to order the correct seat covers for your make and model vehicle. Wet Okole Hawaii cannot be held responsible if you order the wrong seat covers for your vehicle".

I wonder

I wonder if they make covers for the 1st two (2nd row bench) or even all 3 rows? Those look nice! I might have to rethink the leather idea...

I've got an email in to Wet Okole so I'll post the results...
