Couldn't wait till father's day. :D

I broke down and got them in 24's. Thought for sure I wouldn't get them bigger than 22's until I found out that the 24's have the same load rating as the stock tires (2601#). I don't do any heavy towing, but if I ever did, I'd get some new rubber for the 18's that would be up to the task. Anyway, I like em. Hopefully I'll have the real pics up in a week. Here are a couple, The mada (not mine) has 26's. Too big, load goes down, not enough side wall, blah, blah, blah. I'm not racing my truck so I won't cry about the performance loss. At least with the 24's I can still use a 40 series tire. It was hard enough to spend the money on the 24's. I'm pretty cheap (thrifty).

I'll tell you as long as you don't live in Florida... Bazo B26's The 26 has nothing to do with the size.

Looks pretty sik dude! Classy. So i was wondering if you'd have to replace the tire sensor and replace the brakes now that you have 24's?

Wheel Details

Matrix,
After searching long and hard for the best deal either local or online. I got them for about $610 per wheel + $150 shipping. And the tires which are Hankook Ventus (I've seen great reviews on these for wet/dry traction, road noise, and tire wear) 295/40R24 were only $310 each (normally about $500 a tire) + $135 shipping for a total of $3965. It'll cost me another $180 for mount/balance and $25 for wheel locks. Everything for just under $4200. The next best deal would have cost me $4500.

galaktified,
I am not planning on replacing the brakes. Rims/tires will add less than 100# of unsprung weight to the truck. The brakes are up to the task. I highly doubt rotational inertia will be an issue. I don't think I would do it just for looks either. Not sure if the tire sensors will fit, I've got to check with the manufacturer.

I know you are disappointed. And are in complete utter disagreement with my choice. LOLOL. However, I have learned to respect your knowledge, and smile at your "opinions". I'm from NJ, so I can handle the loud-talking, blunt, to-the-point NY style you have. I'll still 'love me' in the morning, and I won't have to go see a shrink like some of the thin-skinned people of this forum, cause TB hurt my feelings. I figured that I am not losing any towing capacity over the stock setup. And I really DO like the way they look. The original wheels that I REALLY wanted I was getting in 22" but I found out that the way they were made, the calipers wouldn't clear the spokes. They had a little more substance too them and would have looked good with the extra sidewall. The ones I ended up getting, I think, looked better in 24's. I hope I don't have buyers remorse after I hit my first pothole ;)
