I installed the K&N Full flow Air on Saturday,Yes it takes about an 1 or so ,I ordered the Borla exhaust ,will be here in 2 weeks .
The K&N makes a difference already (Sounds sweet) ,can't wait for the exhaust.

Mods

I have both the K&N Air Charger as well as the Borla set up. You will love both IMO. Just took the truck on a 1000 mi trip and what a difference they both make. The truck just breathes so much better, and just rolls down the highway, effortless, with no restriction. Gas mileage was better as well. Best two mods you can do to see real performance gains.

Hate to steal this thread but. Could anyone rate how much skill you need to install a Gibson Catback Exhaust and a Volant CAI in the Mada? Cause my skill goes far to changing oil, and how to fix a spare. How hard is it? Can a regular joe like me do the mods with an instructional manual?

You can do it. It is easy. If you need any help just post here. Also search for installs here. Several write ups have been done. Look here for help with the Volant install:

To remove exhaust system look at this. It is a Titan, but it is the same as a Armada except the tail pipe is a little different:

Can a regular joe like me do the mods with an instructional manual?

If you can answer yes to the following questions, you can do it.

1) Do you have basic tools or can borrow some from a friend?
2) Can you breath on your own without the help of a ventilator?

Ahahaha. Alrighty few more Qs but. I was reading up and it doesn't appear that difficult, but more importantly, if I do install the Gibson or get it installed by Midas (looking amiously) will it pass California Smog? Cause :comphead: if it doesn't

Either way it will pass the smog test.
