Any one know what can happen to a motorcycle after sitting in water for a month. My brothers GSXR sat submerged for a month and the engine casings are disinergrating, its unbelievable we went and got it yesterday. if anyone if interested I have pics, but my thing is full so I oculd not post them but I will if anyone wants to see. later.

Dead. My friend and I have a rebuilt GTO Frame-Off restoration. During Floyd it was 8' under water. The interior was in the attic and hadn't been installed so it was fine. Only the steel was in the water, which dropped in 2 days. The first day it went down, I drained the oil, which included a couple extra gallons of sludge, and replaced it with Fresh oil. We had it in the shop within a week and it was fine. Now its cherry but vehicles, especially modern ones, were not meant to be submerged.
