Last week I bought my wife a 05 Nissan Quest, 5 months ago I got my Armada. So now I have 2 identical looking keys one for each car. Does anyone know if it is possible to rekey one or the other so they both match? That way I have one key but still 2 remotes (my Armada has a remote start remote, and the Quest has the stock remote)

Don't think you can. And I wouldn't want to. You would be locking/unlocking both cars when either remote was used, resetting seats and pedals (if you have that feature), etc. I think it would be nothing but problems if you could do it.

i think thats pretty much impossible, unless nissan can key 2 ignitions the same exact way for you...cause thats all you basically need right?
correct 2 ignitions and 6 door locks all the same keying.... Here is my therory... If my ignition got screwed up and I had to order a new one then I would need to either match the old one or rekey everything. Either way it should be possible.

Hey if I can have all of my home locks keyed a like why not my car... Heck take it one step further and key everything the same... home, cars, office, boat, plane the whole thing.. that way I only carty one key... heck make it a fingerprint reader and stop carring keys all together...

Making the locks mechanically accept one key is not the problem. The problem would be having the security systems both set up to use one microchip in all the keys.

Already taken care of that my Armada has a remote start so my chip has been by passed...

so, you technically dont need the key for the armada........lock, unlock, start all on one remote....no key needed....end of story...
nope still have to put the key in and turn it (or else someone could drive off with the Beast) if I do not put the key in and I touch the brake peddle it cuts off the engine.
