I haven't found a whole lot on people using alternative transmission fluid in their Armadas. I'm at the point of changing the fluid and know matic j has been replaced by matic s. To cut to the chase my Haynes manual states that 08 and earlier use matic j which has several alternatives (mobile1..etc). Iv read on titan talk that matic s was formulated for 6/7 gear transmissions or what not. I'm trying to do a full tune up myself and REALLY don't wanna pay 10.50 per qt.
