Well it starts like this,brought my truck in for routine oil change and mentioned that i had a coolant leak some where had it spray all over my engine cover.
They came back said all levels were normal so i left.
came back a half hour later showed them the coolant leaking they said i needed a radiator cap which they didnt have in stock had to order.I left for 2 days still leaking anti came back had cap installed and left.
Came back still leaking had radiator replaced. Then on mothers day on our way to dinner on the expressway transmission went out trans fluid everywhere whole bottom of the truck coated in it. Returned to dealer again trans lines to the new radiator cut and leaking,They replaced trans lines.

This past weekend tried to launch my boat for the season, accelerating while towing i get this loud groan and vibration,also does it even worse when not towing accelerating form any speed hitting passing gear.

Got a call from the dealer today saying that it is the muffler, I've never heard something so ridiculous in my life i even had the so called mech with me and let him hear it for himself.

Long story short ive just about had it with this truck.

I'll let you guys know if the muffler fixes my transmission

hope everything is going well. Have you try changing dealers? I had a problem with a dealer, that every time I brought over my car for something that same day I had to go back do to other problems.The last time I went (oil changed) they said that I had a transmition leak and didn't not have any fluid. Well it's so funny that I have a parking garage with concrete floors and also leave 1 minute from the dealer.Went back home walking 3 minutes and no leak on floor. In other words try another dealer.

Heres an update

Wel the muffler didnt cure the noise problem,happened again on a test drive but of course not with the mech in the truck.

But the more weight in the truck is when it happens mostly will be bringin it back after the holiday and a few more times of towing the boat.

I'm gonna try crawling under it tomorrow they way the noise sounds and when it happens mostly "WHEN IM TOWING" im starting to think ive got a bad trans mount and the driveshaft is rubbing the floor.

Well its just a thought ill check on tomorrow

Check the bolts on the drive shafts to see if they are loose, there was a recall on the bolts being too loose. Check this thread: http://www.clubarmada.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3330&highlight=recall

I feel for you. The problem as i see it is that Nissan N.A. takes no responsiblity for dealers. I have been to three bad ones and heard of one small family owned dealer that treats people the way we should all be treated.I will not buy another Nissan product. Good luck

Get a new dealer/repair dept. Sorry to hear about the problems. First year has had its bugs.

sorry to hear bro... im kinda going through same crap..with electrical... but dont give up hope i know its a PITA to keep bringing in to dealer..hope all gets fixed soon!
