Since my fuel gauge is already screwed and stuck on F. I need to know how much I typically run per tank on miles ??? I do mostly city driving at 45mph or less.

Will my low fuel light still work?

Who knows

Not sure if your light will come on, but I'd venture a guess that at around 360 miles you might want to fill up. We typically get 360-380 per tank with a couple of gallons left. Combo driving...

I couldn't go 360. I do almost all city driving at or below 45mph. I get about 225 miles to 3/4 of a tank (20gal) works out to be about 11mpg. I'd give yourself a cushion and not take it past 250 miles.

for my first 3 months I got 11mpg, the next 2 or so went up to 12, and now (11 months) I get anywhere betwee 13-14, mainly highway (but I have an extremely heavy foot, lol). I've gone up to 340 before I hit E (leaving about 3-4 G's), if that helps any. But since you can't tell your gas mileage, llajump's probobly got the safest bet.

Gas MPG

Because my gas gauge has been stuck on FULL since brand new, I've been careful to watch my odometer. I fill up each 250 miles. I put in about 22-25 gals each fill up. I drive mostly on surface streets. If you drive freeway a lot, 300 miles between fill ups is probably safe.

NISSAN! I've been waiting also and I'm getting tired of all the BS already.

Nissan has had ample time to have replacement parts stocked for the Armadas and Titans. I've heard of owners that can't get OEM sheet metal to repair accident damage and we can't get replacement parts. This is getting ridiculous. Nissan needs to get their act together fast!!!

Saw this link a while back about steel shortage in Japan.
http://www.cnn.com/2004/BUSINESS/11/25/japan.nissan.ap/index.html

This may have something to do with getting in sheetmetal to repair accident damage.

I am so on the fence right now but just so scared of the problems.

Tach and Speedometer strange?

I've noticed that when I turn the key to acc(after I've been driving), the needles on my tach and speedo jump up and then go back down again every minute or so. Looks like a glitch. I'm wondering if there is something more than a bad gas gauge. Like a complete faulty instrument cluster.
Anyone else ever see this happen?

I filled up this morning 330 miles, added 23 gallons. So 14.3 mpg on this tank. It was 13 on the previous tank. Only 1250 miles so hopefully it will keep increasing. Does anyone know how much fuel is supposed to be left in the tank after the fuel light comes on?

I filled up today. I went 359miles. I pumped in 22 gallons. I'm getting roughly 16mpg. Yay!!! I think..heh ;)
You make me sick :( :D . I get a solid 11.5 (though all my miles are city). I reset my ECM last week but I lost track of my miles last tank so I couldn't tell if it helped but I think it didn't do any better......

I also get 11.5mpg like clockwork. Unless I drive on freeway then I get 16-18mpg.
11.5mpg actually isn't too bad considering 305HP and close to 400lb-lbs of torque.
My last SUV was a ML320 that got the same gas mileage but was a girlie man SUV.

i was forced to go 385 miles and felt the engine just start to bog as a rolled into a gas station...i filled 28 gallons...my estimation is just under 14 mph. under normal circumstances, i fill at 300 and put in 22 gals....13.68 mph.

I've been averaging between 14.5 and sometimes 15. I was thinking of installing a Volant to help with the mileage, but Jettech over at clubtitan was saying that unless we plan on adding an exhaust it wasn't a good idea to do just a CAI. I don't really want to go with an exhaust unless I could find one that's as quiet as the OEM. Miles per tank usually around 330-350 and I usually end up putting back around 24 gallons.

This is normal. After you shut off the key the there is a delay, then the doors to the A/C and heat close. If you wait foe a while you will hear the servo motors run. The jump in the needles happens when the power supply bleeds down. All Armadas/Titans do this.
