I thought I read somewhere that Nissan added rearview mirror tilt in reverse to the 06. I sure can't find any mention of this in my manual, nor can I figure out how to make it happen. Was this only a dream?

I thought it was power folding mirrors, not tilt in reverse. I do think that option would be great.

I swear I remember somebody saying we had mirror tilt as well as well as power folding.

i've been using "tilt in reverse" function on my other cars in years and love it. but unfortunately, based on the manual and salesperson, '06 doesn't have this feature yet. hope they will make it, at least as an option, in the near future.

I've got this feature in 2 of my other cars. But I have turned it off because it's useless in my opinion.
I'm not sure why you wany to look in the side mirrors when in reverse.
Maybe to see how close you are to the curb is all I could figure.
Anyone make make better use of this feature?

That is something I'd love to have on my 04!
Well, I gotta wait until 2008 for my next Armada.

I have an 06 LE with power folding mirrors. I haven't looked in the manual but tried to find auto-tilt using the usual methods from the previous three cars I have had with auto-tilt with no success. I have assumed this is not an option on my car.

I would like to use them to search for the curb when parking. I am just dreading the first scratch on the 22's, so far so good but its only a matter of time before I estimate the space wrong.

Mine has the power folding mirrors. This is standard only on the LE's. We use them every time we back into our garage. With our 04, we had to roll down the window and manually fold the left mirror in. What a chore! Now we just push a button.
