Anyone install better mudflaps on their Armada? if so, which ones are you using? I notice the Y62 Patrol has wider and larger flaps.

Haven't heard of anybody adding extra mudflaps but would be interested in hearing from anyone who has experimented with it.

Sad our Armada/QX does not have mudflaps.

The mudflap for the Patrol (Y62) looks good. But for the rear tres, we do not have holes drilled for mudflaps. So, we have to drill to install mudflaps. Also, I wonder if the one from the Y62 can even fit our cars. Someone needs to be a guinea pig and order a set and install so we can see.

This is what I did on mine. This is temporal and looks good to me.

They are the universal urethane Rally Amor mud flaps.

Thanks looks good! I was also bummed that mud flaps were not an option for the new Mada.

So after much debate and looking at pictures on the Nissan Patrol mud flaps, I placed an order today. Now, it's a waiting game till it arrives from China!

Will post some pics when they get delivered and installed!

Ok, so the Nissan patrol mud flaps were delivered. Looks pretty good and molded to fit the Patrol aka Armada. The only problem is that it does not fit over the fender flares and running boards. If the armada does not have the fender flare and running boards, then it would be a direct fitment.

So the question is do I modify the mud flaps or throw them in the attic!?!?!?

I figured this problem may arise.

Putting them in the attic will not help at all. They will just grow old there. So, I guess you have to modify and see what you end up with.

Got pictures to share how it looks on your Armada? Since it does not fit. Wonder how it looks like.

Let us know if you modify it. Nice project for you.

Ok, I'll do some modifications to the mud flaps this weekend and make it work. I've already paid for them so might as well use them! Will probably use the existing hardware on the fender flares and some automotive 3m tape.
