I just finish installing a multimedia system in the Mada ,its like front row for the Macor the new Microsoft Home Multimedia Systems , it has 300 GB for Videos, Music, photos, files , plays MPG 1,2,3,4, avi,ISO, VOB,MOV Mp3 WMA,WAV...........jpg,,etc, I loaded 30 movies for now, i have over 200 music videos and more than 2000 MP3's, in that hard drive you can store up to 250 movies in MPG format and 1000000's mp3's so no need for DVD or CD , I created my own interface with a screen saver with a Nissan Armada Theme so everyone thinks its an OM , looks unreal, really a good computer alternative, and the best of all is everyone can do it , no need to cut wires or taking panels or crap, just time to hide cables LOL i still have to work on that :teeth: the coolest thing is that every one wonders when i display anything like a movie or a music vidoe that they request and they dont see me loading a cd or DVD or anything, you can load your riped movies , videos or download from the internet , thanks to LimeWire or Kazza :rrg: I will be posting some pictures for you to see

Thats exactly what I was looking for a year ago when I did my computer install. I couldn't find anything in the USA most of the similiar devices were still in the Korean market. This was the device I got tired of waiting for to come out http://www.airlinktek.com/english/prod_mg350.htm ....coming soon my a$$ it's been over a year since I first saw it.

So how are you powering it? Where do you have it installed? Did the $270 include the player and hard drive? I want more info!!!! Looking forward to the pictures and detailed write up :schla24:

you would need a hard drive enclosure ,what i did is: I bought the TVnav so i can watch video on my navegation system $250, then this http://www.macpower.com.tw/products/hdd3/tvisto $270 300GB, then you have to rip your movies music etc etc etc .

Where do you get the TVNav from? How does it compare to other AV products?

llajumpvid,

When are you going to put out a system for all of us, that will plug and play? I would definately purchase one from you that is all set up. I know others here on the forum would jump on it as well. :D

I am not too computer savvy , but love the features.

What exactly do you want and I'll try to put together something and give you an idea of cost for self installed.

Does anyone know of a navigation software downloadable to a PC (laptop), and will do the same function and act as a navigation system, i.e, turn by turn, points of interest, calculating distances, etc..
Delorme makes some. So Does Microsoft. THe delorme is hard to navigate around in at first, but once you get used to it it's fine.

thanks EagerCrow, before I read youe response I was at Bestbuy, and I saw the delorme and purchased it $99.99 plus tax, I did not install it yet, but it looks like its a breeze, you can even talk to it, reminds of (Kit) the night rider. :D , thats really nice it seems it has better functions than the microsoft.
I also have a laptop laying around I will put to use.

no problem. I think you will be happy. Like I said the layout is hard to get used to, not real user friendly but once you learn it is ok.

I was impressed with the map coverage. I was in BFE (bum fuc! eqypt) wyoming and it had dirt roads that were hardly visable to us while traveling on them.

I recommend this software http://www.inavcorp.com/products/iguidance21.html

it is made by the same company that makes it for the Acuras and Infinities, I use it on my PDA and laptop, and it is great.

Wow, looks big on there. I think you would like the iNav software a lot better. I visited a navagation software forum and everybody agrees that iNav is the way to go. Although I have never tried the Delorme. Where are you located, maybe we can compare navigation software since I have the iNav.
