My ARMADA a LEMON! :(

The 8 bad visits may be a reflection of the dealership service rather than the ARMADA itself. I would try a new dealership and keep the faith.

I can understand frustration when you have to go the shop to fix little problems. Lord knows my '04 was in the shop A LOT when I first bought it. The main lesson I learned is to GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP. I can't stress it any more than that- it made a huge difference in my case. Now my Armada is (mostly) fine and drives like a dream. All of my problems were small.

What specific problems are you having? You don't mention it in your post. And I'm curious, who's the captain if you aren't?

That sounds ridiculous. Its a chair, not rocket science. Sounds like you have a bad dealer. I'd find a better shop in your area and just get the sucker fixed right in one trip. It almost sounds like they are milking you for hours.

I agree with all of ya, I took mine to 4 different dealers untill i settled on the one who fixed the car from the very first visit :amazing:

Come on down to Douglas Nissan in Huntington Beach, CA. I have had great luck with the dealer. They have fixed all of my TSB's and did my brake fix on the first visit. I deal with Jeff in service. Tell them Kevin from Omaha Steaks sent you. On some visits where they need my truck overnight, they set me up with a rental car from Enterprise.

Give them a call , it will be worth your drive. I had bad luck at Connell Nissan and then went to Douglas and I was very happy.

Nothing but good advice from all man. Remember all dealers are idependant and only follow guidelines from the factory. That's why the haggle you so much for good feedback on the surveys so they can get kuto's and cold hard cash from the corp.

Yea i did, but Preformance is the closest one to me with the best service department, el monte is ok but not as good and glendale just sucks. I got no where else to go

Seriously, call Douglas and see what they can do for you. Its only 40 minutes south. I know because my mother in law lives in West Covina. If they need your car any longer, you can get a rental and have your Armada fixed. End of story and complaints.

I feel your pain Mista! Mine has been in the shop 14 times now (2 dealers). Four of those times have been for the same two problems (backup sensors and 'cigarette lighters') and guess what??? Still not fixed! I also have been on the phone w/ Nissan USA 4 times now and it really hasn't helped much.

We are scheduled to go in next week for Fix #15 to replace the steering wheel and the back hatch (which was broken at some point when they were trying to fix the backup sensors). Now the driver's side door & overhead console are rattling like crazy too.

We are seriously considering starting the lemon process. As much as I love the look and feel of the Mada it is really becoming a nightmare.

One of our tenants used to be a tech at Performance, according to him, they had the lowest satisfaction score of any dealer in the LA area (this is about a year old). I haven't had the best experiences there either.

I had mine bought back under the Lemon Law cause my Armada lived at the dealership more than it did in my driveway.. Luckily I have 3 cars so it was not that much of a hardship, but one would think a vehicle that cost $43K wouldnt fall apart everytime you get in it.

Just for the record my Buyback took 4 months from start to finish.. Good thing I have a lot of free time at work.

well now that i told them i was goin tp report is at a lemon witch i did, they really fixed the problem this time, but how long will it b befor all the problems u guys have start to happen to my car now, im still going to go through with the lemon law buy back, or see if they will exchange it for a new and better one.

Armada is made in the USA.

Tahoe is made in Mexico.

The thing about GMs that kills me is you can't tell if your looking at a '05 or a '95 cause they all look the same. Bland.

thats true they all do look alike, however i must say i had a GMC befor my mada it was a 92 1500 laster me a good 12 years until i crashed it, my big red machine is what i called it, but now i got a big grey machine with 18" subs that blow the windows of a GM away
